Currently: writing code, refilling coffee, and saying yes to side quests.
I've spent the last few years building software used by millions of people every day. I love the messy middle of engineering: untangling hard problems, making things feel easy, and leaving every codebase a little kinder than I found it.

Smart dining table
Published research · Cisco thingQbatorA dining table that pays attention. Sensors and a motorized 360° display that physically turns to face you when you interact with it, an app to order and pay from your seat, and a restaurant back office, all wired together into one system. Built end to end, from hardware to web, and published as peer-reviewed research.
↗Proximity marketing
Team lead · Cisco thingQbatorShelves that know you're there. A context-aware retail platform that blends beacon signals with shopping behavior to recommend the right product at the right moment. I led a team of four across the mobile app, the recommendation engine (customer segmentation and clustering) and the web services behind it, and lifted click-through by 15%.
